Ford just did something genuinely unusual for a company its size.
On May 1, 2026, Ford launched a nationwide pricing program called “American Value. For American Values” — tying it to America’s upcoming 250th birthday. The deal: every American customer pays the same price Ford employees pay. Below MSRP. No haggling. No special badge required. No rebate form to mail in three weeks later.
Just a lower price. For everyone. Through July 6.
Last year’s similar program helped lift Ford’s Q2 sales by 14%. So there’s a business reason behind the patriotic framing — but the buyer still wins either way.

What’s Actually Covered
The list of eligible vehicles is long and genuinely useful. Most popular models are in:
Trucks: Maverick, Ranger, F-150, 2025 Super Duty, 2026 Super Duty XL and XLT
SUVs: Bronco, Bronco Sport, Explorer, Expedition, Escape
EVs: Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning
Lincoln: Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator, Navigator
Commercial: Transit Van, E-Transit
What’s Excluded — Read This First
This is where Ford gets creative with the fine print. Excluded models include:
The F-150 Raptor and Raptor R. The Ranger Raptor. The Mustang GTD (expected, but still funny to include on the exclusions list when it’s a $300,000 car). The Bronco Raptor for 2026. The 2026 Super Duty Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. Shelby GT and GT500. Mustang Dark Horse SC.
Pattern? Performance and high-margin variants are out. The workhorse everyday vehicles — the ones most Americans actually buy — are in.
If your heart is set on a Raptor specifically, this deal doesn’t help. But if you’re buying an F-150 XLT, an Explorer, a Bronco, or a Maverick? This is the best time to walk into a Ford dealer in years.

How Much Can You Actually Save?
Ford didn’t publish a flat dollar figure — because it varies significantly by model and trim. A loaded F-150 Platinum? Not eligible. An F-150 XLT? Very much eligible — and the savings on a $48,000 truck at employee pricing can run several thousand dollars.
The honest advice: go to Ford’s website, build the vehicle you want, get the employee price quote, and compare it against what dealers near you are advertising. If the gap is $3,000 or more on a model you were already planning to buy — move before July 6.
One more thing worth knowing: this deal runs through July 6, not July 4. Ford specifically extended it past the holiday weekend to give buyers more time. Last year’s version was extended twice. There’s no guarantee of an extension this time — and waiting for one is gambling with your deal.
If you’ve been eyeing a Ford, the window is open. Walk in this weekend.
